Replace BMW CAS3 D80 Engine Computer by CGDI BMW

I will share how to use CGDI BMW to replace CAS3 D80 Engine computer step by step.

MSV80 engine computer style shown as below:


Stitching of it:


1.  Click on the BMW ISN

2.  MSV80 Writing diagram

3.  Click to read DME ISN

4.  Make sure the battery has enough power and not disconnected.

5.  Need about 5min, wait

6.  Read DME ISN successfully

7.  Read CAS ISN

8.  CAS ISN read successfully

9.  Copy the DME ISN to the position of CAS ISN and write ie.

10.Please insert the key and comfirm the ignition switch is turned on

11.Written CAS ISN success

How to read and write Porsche key?
1) Click on "Open folder" and load EEPROM data.
2) Insert one blank key into CG-Pro machine coil, click on "Read key".
3) Choose the key position, then click on "Write key".

CG-100 and CGDI BMW Replace BMW N20 Engine Computer

In this blog, you will know how to replace BMW CAS3 N20 engine computer by CG100 and CGDI BMW.

Step1: use CG-100 to read engine ECU data
Click to enter “ECU”

Click on the engine mode option to enter the current vehicle

According to the software physical wiring diagram wiring

Writing engine module

Click  ‘Read EEPROM’

Read successfully and save the data

Show ISN and VIN


Step 2: Use CGDI BMW to Connect CGDI BMW with engine ECU via OBD, click to enter BMW ISN

Click “ Read CAS ISN “

CAS ISN read successfully

Input ISN Which was read by CG-100 just now

Write successfully, replace engine computer was completed

How CGDI MB Add A Key to 2011 Benz E260 When All Key Lost

Car Model: 2011 Benz E260
Process: program new keys when all key lost

connect the CGDI MB with the car and then run CGDI-MB software


First, Calculate Keys and choose "copy key without key"

supported types to do all key lost

Choose "Collect Data"


insert the simulation key into the lock in 30s


save the data when finish collected


pull out the simulation key and choose the right saved data to upload data

Click "Query Result"

calculating the password

calculate successful and copy the password


you could paste the password in a txt filed just in case.


Click "Lock(EIS)"->"Read EIS data"


the orange one means that key1 and key2 is used.

Paste the calculated password in the below step


save the EIS data

Then, choose "Generate EE" -> "Load EIS File" to choose the EIS data saved just name


choose "Generate Key File" and save


The new key to program


Insert the key in CGDI MB


Choose "Read/Write Key" -> "Read key/Chip"
note: the communication mode choose "Infrared"


the key state shows it is not used


Click "Reset" before use it to program
note: each key need to reset before program


Read key/chip again and then choose "Open/Write"


note: smart key choose 41 format, common key and BE key choose 51 format

3-8 means the key number and 41/51 means the format, here we choose 3_51


write key successfully!



read key/chip again and confirm the key wrote successfully


Insert the key in the ignition switch


program the key successfully


testing

the final step

Read Lock(EIS) again and you could see that there are 3 key in total


after program, the new key and the old lost keys need to be disable
Choose "Disable key" and disable the lost key1 and key2


disable the keys successfully
